Explore Italy through our tailor-made trips, designed by Ketty and our team from Rome. Each itinerary is crafted to reveal the country's authentic diversity: the Tuscan hills and their agriturismi, the peaks of the Dolomites, the Amalfi Coast and the trulli of Puglia, plus Sicilian Baroque and Mount Etna. Whether you travel as a family, couple or friends, our trips adapt to your pace and preferences. From a 10-day discovery circuit on the Rome-Florence-Venice route to a grand 3-week journey combining north, center and Sicily, find the itinerary that suits you and travel with peace of mind with an English-speaking local agency.
Choose your trip in Italy
How to choose your Italy itinerary?
The rule we've applied since Rome is simple: two regions explored in depth are better than five skimmed over. On a 1 to 7 day format, we typically combine Rome with Tuscany, or Venice with the Dolomites and Lake Como. For a 8 to 12 day trip, it becomes worthwhile to add Sicily or Puglia, or to descend to the Amalfi Coast after a central loop. Highway distances remain moderate, but the roads through Tuscany, the Dolomites, or Sicily's hinterland demand a slower pace that needs to be factored into your itinerary.
Different types of itineraries
Our cultural itineraries feature ancient Rome, Renaissance Florence, lagoon Venice and Sicilian Baroque, with skip-the-line museum access and English-speaking local guides. Adventure itineraries lead to hiking in the Dolomites between mountain huts, climbing Mount Etna, or trekking the Cinque Terre trails. Family trips prioritize Tuscan farmhouse stays with pools, Puglian or Sardinian beaches, and short stages suited to children, with cooking workshops, cycling tours in Veneto and treasure hunts in art cities.
What is the best season?
From April to June, then September to mid-October, conditions are ideal across the entire region: 20 to 28 °C, long daylight hours, manageable crowds. July and August concentrate heat in the south, with peaks reaching 38 °C in Puglia and Sicily, and require adapted logistics, air-conditioned accommodations and early morning visits. Winter suits art cities perfectly, freed from crowds, and the Dolomites for skiing between December and March. The islands, Sardinia and seaside Sicily, remain pleasant from late May to early October.
Our quality commitment
Ketty and the Italy team, based in Rome, design each itinerary directly with our local partners: family-run hotels, winemakers, English-speaking regional guides, drivers selected over many years. We are registered with Atout France and APST-guaranteed, which fully secures funds paid at the time of booking. During your trip, an English-speaking support line remains available 24/7 from Rome, and we adjust the itinerary in real time if a rail strike, site closure or unexpected weather disrupts the program.
